School life is the most beautiful time in the lifetime of an individual.All schools are responsible to make an individual.
Children study in school till they are of adolescent age,after that they just step in to the treshold of the real world.
It is really fun to go back to the school days,... everybody cherishes them.
Well i had a chance to visit a school and that too a primary school.
I visited the annual gathering of the Bal Vikas Mandir School.The event was the felicitations of their meritrious students the ones who had appeared for the state scholarship examination.Well my brother was one of them and hence the chance.
The function was held in the auditorium of Abasaheb Garware College.The atmosphere was electric and very infective.Small Children of various age groups were dressed in their best.Many of them dressed for their respective plays,dances or the Songs that they would be performing.
The teachers dressed as if it was a festival,were putting the last touches before the event or busy manning the children. Making, the unusually active children,sit at a place was really a hard task though as they were very excited to watch their friends perform.Some of them engaged in baby talk with their friends......
And then Began the annual gathering.
The enthusiasum of the children was really reaching its peak.But first things first for the school.The Annual report of the school's progress was read and also was read the names of the star's of the day, the guys who made the school proud by bagging the scholarships.
Parents present in large numbers were waiting patiently for the program to start.The guest of honour was the noted writer Mrs.Mrinalini Chitale,whose association with the school dates back to the time when her daughters were the students of the school.
Finally the Event kicks off.And then
watching the kids from standards 1-4 start performing.There are scenes from Ramayana/Mahabharta or lives of the national leaders enacted.Various
folk dances which include bharud,koli geets as well as even mangalagauri songs were also presented.
The Performing children were performing with all their enthusiasm and oblivious to the fact that they were missing a few steps or just plain wrong in their steps.Looking at their very sweet attires and enjoying & dancing their heart out was really making the parents and the other audience laugh as well as filling their heart with warmth.
Audience also contained the students form the Abasaheb Garware college, all present to pass the time between the lectures.But these kids also took a special place in each one of their hearts so much that they enjoyed the show immensely commenting how cute a student looked and unknowingly or knowingly transporting them back to their nostalgic school days.
As for me,being with these kids was a joy and an event that i would not give up for anything.Their innocence,enthusiasm, their small talks just always makes me think
"Tere masoom sawalon se hairan hoon main"
