We are already in to the last week of new year when this post get's published. I hope all of you must have had a very nice year end.Wishing you all a Happy & Prosperous New Year. Everybody must have been visiting some places or must have planned trip's for their new year.My year end was spent in Badami in Karnataka, the southern state in India. Badami or "Vatapi" is an ancient City in Karnataka where the Chalukya's or rather the Chalukyan dynasty ruled from 6th to 12th century A.D.This is the city to the enorth of Karnataka and at a 12 hr. drive from Pune(Maharashtra).The city is the host of many 6th-12th century temples built during the chalukyan era.There are also many carved caves that were carved during the Chalukyan rule.
